first off before i say anything, dont tell me there might be another thread about this because ive already searched and found nothing

ok heres my problem. ive been drifting for a while and have an almost universal suspension setting for drift. whats happening with most of the audi's is that the front wants to turn straight in the middle of the drift. its basically correcting itself. ive tried mostly everything i could think off. what would you suggest?

why turn the sring rates down? i turn mine right up. try that because if your getting body roll it will take your momentum and correct you out of the drift. also try putting n3s on the front and n1s on the rear. (like my evo VIII) which audi is it? i have my own settings for the RS6 '02 as i just finished mine! :sly:

Thats just how i like to drift. a softer suspension works better for me. and im using the rs 4. but i had the same problem with the old quattro.

when i went to drift the 3.2 guattro i tried the n3 and n1 thing and it got rid of the problem but it makes it drift really easy. you have to put no effort into getting it to slide and the back sometimes comes out. but i tried n3 and n2 and it was better but still to easy. im just gunna give up on audi if theyre all going to be so boringly easy.

Does supension really matter that much ? Stock cars can drift with N1/N2/N3 tyres too. Just set it to a stiffy on the rear.

It does matter, remember Balance is what you want. but depends on the HorsePower of the car, more power= weird settings to keep that power under control.

yes suspension matters x10. it depends on what you like. i like to be able to throw my car into the turn insanely and be able to still keep control of it, thats why i most of the time drift 4wd with a really soft suspension. im probably going to make a video for all my 4wd drifting then you'll see what i mean. i also just finished my first vid. its a bunch of noob drifting and im way better now but its still pretty good. cant wait to post it

if you buy sports tyres, then do a lap and pit in, set the front to soft and the rear as luxury it should be a bit better, as long as the tyre type sports/normal this should work, i do it all the time!

REMEMBER balance is everything. try moving weight around in the car to help it drift better. also. a balance between front and rear grip is needed. too much will just throw you off backwards into the wall. last but by no means least. NOT EVERYONES SETTINGS WILL WORK FOR YOU!!! i can't drift Evo_4_Drifter's cars at all.(in fact i can barely drive them) find what works for you!!! :sly:

My point exactly. 👍

my settings work perfectly for me for almost any car. i gave up on audi's because they have that problem. the only time i ever used anyones settings was when i was a noob and i could never drift them, thats why i made my own and theyre perfect for me. no balance between the front and rear tires is actually needed. i almost always drift with n2/n2 and the drift is perfect. the weight movement is also not an issue. i drift a vey low and soft suspension which allows me to whip my car into the turn and still have complete control over it.
