So I've been running the Suzuka 1000km race since last night. Got to lap 58 and pitted in fourth place, with second and third pitting as well, first just crossing the start/finish line. I suspended the race and came back a few hours later. Restarting the race, I pitted as usual, and began my race. Here's where it gets "fun" (:grumpy:). The racer in second not only jumped to first, but is now a lap ahead of everyone else. I tried quitting the game and restarting, and the Playstation was off for the night. Do any of you guys here know what happened? :banghead:

Um...because it was running faster, and passed everyone while they were stopping?
I dunno, can't see a problem there. But our good friend Famine posted his results of a glitch regarding the save/suspend feature.

It was basically what that was, yet an AI was first. Every time I've restarted conditions were at 0%. The first four cars were within a second or two of each other, so they couldn't have ran an entire lap then pitted in the few seconds it took me to get into pit road.

EDIT: Tires were not the problem, since I ran two laps to see if it would correct itself and it was the same pace as the first 58 laps.

Alright, I think I fully understand what happen now. Sadly, there's not much you can do, as this glitch hasn't been fixed yet.

I recommend going to the tuning forum and search for a setup for that race, try and do as many laps as you can in one go, that should minimize the need for you to save the game and cause this glitch.

This, of course, amusing that you want a competitive race, if not, you can also use this glitch to your advantage and win the race anyway.
Here's how.

This is the only reason why I'm angry :indiff:. Thanks anyway, I'll see if I can catch up. Hell, there's 112 laps to go.

I meant "assuming", why the heck did I wrote "amusing" :odd: need more coffee...

Best of luck! If everything else fails, just try and enjoy the race! 👍
