If your racing online, swing by every hour on these intervals: 00, 15, 30, 45.
An example. I get online its 12:54, im gonna wait 6 minutes and press start race then. If more people do that at the same time, we might end up together in a race! (and less punters!) So after my race i get back at the menu around 13:12, ill wait 3 minutes till its 13:15 and race again, getting back at the lobby around 13:27, gonna wait 3 minutes again (get a drink, toiletbreak etc) and join the race again at 13:30!
