Suzuka race 24/1 --- 31/1

I like the race,the cars and the three laps.

The format is great and I have some very good races on it.
Mainly as the group is small,4 or 5 guys.

When the grid is full, all you can think of, can happen.
Shortcutting as a special art form,performed by some.:grumpy:

Also I get the impression it is almost impossible to win a race when you race it WRS/clean.👍
I start most of the times at the end of the grid and try to avoid all kind of crashes,with half throttle, keeping a constant eye on my back mirror.

One thing what is most annoying is that the cheaters made use of the penalty system to finish in front of the pack.

On the other hand I'm writing down names of those who have the sincere intention to race clean.
Might come in handy for future to invite those guys for a room with a pass.👍

But still,GT5P is awesome,the handling,the cars,yeah.......can't wait for the real thing.:)

he sjaak,like that race too but havnt seen you yet online...or i must have forgotten:indiff:....hehehe,but as we live in the same country we surely will soon........i am writing names dows too and must say that some of them have learned something and i wrote them off the list.....maybe they had there fun or they are just so bad in racing they are now playing lemmings or so:sly:......btw,love that suzuka race too...the turns 2345 and 6......oooohhhhh....what a joy!!:)

If you're starting at the end of the grid, and half-throttle, why are you checking the rear-view?
Also, I'm not sure if it's a language translation issue, but the first half of your post made me think you were stating that you cheat to win, because you have to, while the second half sounds like it is bashing cheaters...?

If you start as nr 14 and hold back the throttle for the first bend,numerous cars fly out.
They will return however very fast by the boost.

and if you drive in a pack of cars it is possible that the lead car has full throttle and nr 6 can ease the gas.

And it must be the language thing,I will never cut corners to gain positions.
I will add some extra smilies.
My goal is to have a great race,the finish standings are no importance for me.
 
Well, I given up with this rubbish. Public arenas are the worst GT experience that I have ever encountered in the 7 years that I have been competing in this game. 👎👎

Sphinx heads back to race GT4 online. 👍

The best races I have had are in the professional events, it's just too hard for most of the idiotic drivers.
 
They really need to get rid of that Suzuka shortcut, it's been known for a long time. They fixed the Daytona road course shortcut really quickly.

Enjoyed the race with you tonight. You won one race and I just managed to just pip you in the other!

Yeah, that first race was crazy. I started out towards the back, made my way to first, got knocked off the track and then got a 7.5 second penalty because someone else hit me, ended up way in the back, made my way up to first, got knocked off again, made my way back up, and passed that other guy for the lead at the second to last turn. Good times.
 
Had a couple of good races today, came in 1st both times. I decided to just hold back at the first nightmarish corner and just kept it on the island throughout the whole race and watched everybody else either plough into each other of the sand. Quite amusing to watch!

I had more then a dozen very good races at Suzuka this evening.

Very tight and fair racing.

Racing with people who knew how to race,great fun.:)
