Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept '01 steering wheel colors

Does anyone have a full set and/or know what color steering wheel the individual models come in?

Color list:

  • Black
  • Dark Gray
  • White
  • Blue Metallic
  • Red Metallic
  • Silver Metallic
  • Yellow Metallic

In particular, I'd like to know which of these have a white steering wheel.

I think I miss one or so, but this:

I like the white steering wheel a lot better, driving in cockpit view, but given I had painted the car, I didn't know anymore what color model it was. The rest I've got seem to have a black steering wheel. Was merely wanting to know 1) which one(s) has/have a white steering wheel, and 2) does the steering wheel actually come in other colors (apart from black and white) as well?

I checked it for you: the color the car originally has, is the color the top half of the steering wheel its color. That means the GSX-R4 yellow,has a steering wheelcolor which top half is yellow. :)

So I need to get another white one if I want a white steering wheel, then again, I guess I really should collect all of them, so I can change around steering wheel color to suit my mood. :lol:

I got a yellow one, with the yellow wheel, then painted it red, and the wheel turned white.

Thanks for the info. Maybe that's how I got my white steering wheel in the first place? So the steering wheel actually changes (or can change) color if you paint the car?

Wonder whether it changes color to whatever you paint the car in if you use a GSX color (they come with chip, or?), and then simply changes to a default color if you paint the car in any non-GSX color.
 
I noticed also that after painting,the wheel will have the same colour as the body in the garage but when you race it in cock-pit mode the wheel is indeed white...At least in the one I had painted.

When the car is painted gold it has a white steering wheel.

I'm sure I had at least one I had painted with a black steering wheel. So either different paints cause different color steering wheel, or different 'original color' cars have a different (default) color steering wheel when painted.

I'd really like to know that too. I think it's time for me to get them all, and then spend some time over the holidays figuring this out. :lol:
 
Ill try to paint one in several colors and also in original GSX-R4 colors, and check what happens, but I think the steering wheelcolor turns white when you paint it and after it stays white.
 
Testresults:
I had a silver metallic GSX-R4, with a silver metallic steeringwheel, checked!
Painted it (Ford) Mark IV Red, got in the car and steering wheel is now white.
Painted it again, now into (Suzuki) GSX-R Yellow Metallic, got into the car,but the steering wheel kept white...

So only unpainted Suzuki GSX-R4 keep their steeringwheel color.
 
As I stated earlier. If you go to view the car in your garage the car colour will match the steering wheel always...This does not apply when racing in cock-pit mode.

Well, at least it seems that all I need to do in order to get a white steering wheel is paint the car.

Yes,yes!...I didn't make myself clear,I meant only after you paint the cars does this apply...Unpainted cars should retain their colours all around when in-car as you said...:)
 
Sorry to revive this. Anyone notice that part of the chassis changes color when the car is painted? If you paint it orange the chassis turns a reddish color. Some other colors turn the chassis black. I think green gives it a green hue if I remember too.
