For the first seven series of BBC's Top Gear the car driven for lap times was a Suzuki Liana. When first introduced, the car was worth £9995. The car used is stock except for a roll cage and racing seats added as safety measures. The model type used was the sedan, which was best driven by Ellen MacArthur with a lap time of 1:46.7 minutes, and worst driven by Richard Whiteley with a lap time of 2:06.0.
It has continued to be used when F1 drivers visit the show. Currently Daniel Ricciardo holds the fastest lap in it.

...I'm surprised to see no one's suggested this until now. Having said that, more info in the OP would be nice.

-> I know it's a Liana, but whats the specific model for this UK-spec sedan? Looks like I have to play Forza to find out...oh well.

EDIT -> Never mind, it was the GLX. Got it from Forza 4 (on which was Suzuki's last appearance on the FM series, according to Kudos Prime's site).
