After 10 month’s absence, the Suzuki Swift Challenge makes its 4th and final appearance on GT5.

The basic format is the same as before but the car may have a few tweaks, but nothing is set in stone as yet.

The tracks are the usual suspects:
GVE, Tsukuba, Autumn Ring, Motegi East, Cape Ring South and I may throw one of my own tracks in there too. Races will again be approximately 20 miles in length.

No start date has yet been decided but it could be from Sept 28th and there will be two races per meeting with a reverse grid event.

All previous seasons drivers will have first shout if they want to participate again and all newcomers will be put on a reserve list.

More to follow soon.

I heard you got assistance with specs for this Fox?

I had a lurk in the thread for Season 3 and it had my interest as there was no suspension, LSD and transmission tuning allowed.

If those regulations are staying that way, I'd like to express interest in competing in my first ever official racing series, since I've mostly been doing club racing.

Believe that the no tuning aspect is to be preserved.

The majority of the car's aspects are remaining as in season 3. If it ain't broke.........

I'll put you on the reserve list.

Alright then. My interest has been partaken.

It has been confirmed that there will be no transmission, LSD or suspension tuning as per the last 3 seasons.

5 speed close ratio transmission
Fixed Sports Suspension Kit

Rear aero will also be dropped.

Hm, I haven't raced in a series for ages.. maybe I should do it one last time in GT5.

Long time no see Niko. Haven't raced you since my time in the VCRC.

I'll participate in this and hoping to get my first win in the series after being overtaken at the last corner in each of the last 2 seasons

My participation is not 100% either, but i'll be in if I can 👍

Suggestion: Qualifying could be done with collisions off, otherwise it'll become a draftfest. :dopey:

More power and less grip. And don't worry, nothing like that TOCA disaster car ;).

Aw man.

Maybe you could run with 50 less HP to give the others a remote chance? ;)

He'll probably still run away in front.

I'm not aiming for victories, or even podiums. I just want to aim for decent, respectable finishes.

Have I raced you before? In Watermelon's one off races? :dopey:
