Well, today's my birthday, and if it's anything like yesterday, it'll be a great day. So yeah, I go for my lisence on tuesday, and we bought a '94 Integra LS that I'll learn to drive. Yay for me :O

Happy birthday! Good luck with learning to drive and everything. The first day that you're alone with your driver's license will be one of the best in your life.

Is your Integra a manual or automatic?

He's right. It's also about a million times easier to pick up a manual if you haven't spent too much time on an automatic. Your first car isn't bad compared to mine though. I had a 1988 Honda Accord with 250,000 miles on it, and it was still on its first clutch. I still loved it though, my friends and I would beat the **** out of it without any guilt at all.

The car is great. The guy who owned it is the original owner and all he did was highway driving. It's only got 97k on it, and he just replaced the timing belt, muffler, tires, and he just called and said he was going to take a quick look at the brakes for free. The body is nearly perfect, and he's inluding the bra for free, so I'll probably sell that on eBay or something.

Happy birthday foo! You get a nice car to drive, my dad already told me I'm stuck with driving a 200k+ 94' Corolla, with an automatic for my first car. :(

happy birthday dude
My first car is actually my mom's '93 accord with nearly 190k on it :(

But then again, hopefully by this spring, I'll be able to buy something of my own to ride around in. I'm thinking maybe a used Suzuki GS500.

You bought first year?

At least you've got alloys and leather. Sunroof? I bet you're not lucky enough to have a sedan, one of the best-looking cars ever. But a coupe will suffice.

Don't take off the car's bra - years of road grime probably sit under it. It'll look pretty ugly if you remove it. That's why sensible people (like yourself, probably) don't use them.

I thought so too, but the guy waxed his car twice a year, and washed it once a week. It's amazingly clean. Plus, now I can put up pics with my new digital camera. I think my parents are gonna ship me away soon at this rate. Geez, I don't know how they scrounged up that kind of money.

Happy birthday man. You got a '94 Integra for your first car? Lucky bastard.

I had a 1984 Corolla, what a ****box that was! :grumpy:

Happy B-day!!! Heh, a '94 Integra isn't that bad compared to my first car (that ive had for 2 years now, being 17)....which is an '85 Toyota MR2....not a bad lookin car....but it had around 160,000 miles on it when i got it and it didnt run great then...(now its at about 175,000 lol)

Happy beleted b-day!

Congrats on getting a nice car as ur first one. And manual is really nice, cause now you'll know how to drive one, and you never know if you might need it later. And...it makes it so that most the other people there won't ask to borrow your car.

The link doesn't work, it sends me to a 404 page.

On the other hand, happy birthday! A 94 Integra is an amazing first car!

Pretty nice.

Are the exterior panel gaps really that big? car3.jpg makes them look distortedly large. To me, anyway.

Is that a Protege?
