It seems the more I practice the more frustrated I am, or it's just because I just got home from work so I'm quite tired. I wonder if my foot are not as quick as my fingers when it comes to braking, or perhaps I should buy some sparco shoes just to play it with.
I searched some articles about race driving and the more I learn the more mistakes i did.
I couldn't win the seasonal with a standard EVO IV which I think I could have won easily with a ds3 and finally I cheated by tuning up a FF toyota celica and put on sport soft and yeah I won easily but it's a hollow victory

Dun worry. You will be able to with some more practice. I can't catch a slide to save my life. Stock evo is great for the seasonal. When u feel ready try the stock NSX type zero. That's one crazy car on g27.

Thought I would make a suggestion. If you aren't using left-footed braking, you should try it out for at least a good while and try to adjust to it. Imo, you will be much faster that way and more apt to catch the car in slides, especially with the G27 and the fact that the brake is a different height than the accelerator pedal.

it's been a week now and I can say I made alot of progress?! the fact that now I'm using active steering on strong, is that considered cheating? Been winning alot of races too
Wheel are just so much better, after switching to wheel I've been playing for hours without getting bored, some cars are just so much fun to drive. I'm not used to driving LMP cars yet I feel it's too quick and abit scary if I'm honest. I also realised after switching to wheel and pedals, my driving in real life has been abit aggressive which is not a good thing. So all I can say is that it was worth it for me to spend around AU$700 for G27 and wheelstandpro, it really makes the game so much more exciting. I would love to have a racing seat set up one day as I seen alot of forummers here have really nice set up. Cheers

Y does everyone use such high ffb numbers. I use around 2-3 and I get nice smooth steering but I still get all the bumps an gs when cornering.

Most probably doesn't understanding clipping then some who do prefers the wheel ffb motors always turning at maximum power. Also Gt5 ffb does not seem to have the slip angle effect either.
