Umm, yeah, it sounds cool, but I'm hopelessly stuck in the 2oth century. This thing won't play CDs.

Also, how do you get it to play more than one song at a time? I want to add a whole folder (my only folder of mp3s, thanks Giles). They show up but I have to individually tell it to play each song.

Eh, I'm no tech support guy. I just use the Winamp plugin. It puts an icon in the sys tray with "Brainplay" and "view stats" as options.

Ah. I installed the full version. Maybe I'll try the plugin version.

For some reason, The Brain has decided that I want to hear "The Weekend Starts Here" by Fatboy Slim about 7 times out of my 10-15 mp3s, though there are others it won't even play once.

Eh, the price was right, and it's been fun to tinker with.

It won't randomly pick MP3s for you - you have to play a bunch of stuff first so it can build a database of what you like before it starts to play music for you. The more you play the better it can pick. I didn't even use Brainplay for several weeks after I installed it. Then it had a nice database to mess with before I let it be the DJ.

I'm just trying to get it to play all those songs even once, let alone have it jock for me.
