System lock up after time trials in PS 4

Having a recurring and intermittent issue when exiting out of a time trial, the game locks up and doesn’t save time set for the time trial. Have to exit out of the game via closing it from controller main button then re-enter from scratch. Doesn’t happen from any other aspects of the game.
 
The save problem happens to me too, but I do not have to leave the game. sometimes when I leave the time trial screen and come back, the time is corrected, and sometimes I have to get in and out of the event one more time for the time to appear correctly.

when it happens to me, I can't go anywhere in the game and have to exit out then back in. tried again today and same thing happened. I then tried again but this time with stable set up and worked. I then tried another TT with new car/track and worked. Must be some form of bug but have no clue and very frustrating considering the time the game takes to load only to then lose the time set.

With me the only time the game stopped completely was in a qualifying session before an online race, but never in the time trial. Sorry for not being able to help, but talk about your problem in the bug report topic here or in the official forum of SMS, maybe someone has already had this same problem.
 
I have this problem too. As I exit a time trial the game freezes in some car/track combinations. Also, if you click on tuning, sometimes the tuning screen doesn't show the setup name or description and the save arrow (bottom right) flashes continually and you can do nothing except abort the game. Hopefully they'll fix this in the next update, as it was working OK before the last update.
