Hello all!

I'm posting on behalf of my brother who is just getting into simracing. He just bought the Thrustmaster T300RS wheel and is using the included pedals (2 pedals).

He started off playing around on the PC last night in PCars with good results. However, tonight he was hooking it up to the PS4 and tried both GTS and PCars there, and the brake pedal is being problematic.

The problem is that he can't fully brake. When observing the brake input in the HUD it doesn't even reach halfway to full, maybe 40% at best. Gas pedal works fine and the wheel itself as well, and everything worked like a charm on the PC, so this doesn't seem like a hardware issue.

He has the wheel on PS4 mode and has tried unplugging it, restarting the PS4 and all those basic tricks, but not luck.

Has anyone had similar experience? Any tips?

UPDATE:

Ok, so suddenly, the brakes work fine, but now the gas pedal has the same issue, as in, only reaching around 40% input :odd:

My T300RS pedals do this sometimes too, I don't know why. Usually gas pedal, once with the brakes. It's pretty rare, but sucks when it starts happening suddenly mid-race. I just unplug and replug the pedals from the wheel base, and it fixes itself.

That’s the reason why I bought the T150. Zero issues since day1.
Edit: Upgraded with the T3PA and it’s a dream.

Yeah he replugged and now everything works fine. Very strange. Hope for his sake that this won't be a recurring issue! :).
