While cleaning the exterior of my T3PA pedals (and trying to pry as much doghair out of the insides as possible) I noticed there is grease on the pedalsprings. Looking at it, it's the kind of grease that's used in and on ballbearings, rather thick and sticky.

Googling around I can't find the use for grease on the pedalsprings. No video for replacing the springs ever care for (re)greasing the pedalsprings it seems. Let alone they never remove greasy springs.

Is it standard for Thrustmaster to grease these springs?
Would it be better to open the pedalset and remove the grease?

Yeh, better remove it!
As i buyed my new car, first i did was removing all that oil from motor. Dont know why they have put oil in motor?!

Grease isn't a standard to be associated with electronics. It's not taken as a standard to have to lube your PC/PS4 and/or your pedalsprings every once in a while. Let alone change it's oil.
The manual does not state to regrease the pedalsprings after pressing it 1500, give or take, times.

So my question still stands:
1) Why would there be grease on the pedalsprings?
2) And if required, why is it that tutorials found on changing pedalsprings don't concern with regreasing?

Thank you!
If that's the case it probably won't harm to wipe off the excess of grease on the springs and keeping an eye on the gearing in the pedals in the future.
