Hi everyone i recently brought a t500rs and before that i had the g27 but i thought one of the motors was broken because of when ever i tried to drift i would for example swing the wheel to the left to initiate the drift but as soon as i let go the wheel would just return to the center and the car would straighten up instead of doing what it should and counter steering to the right. so back to my t500rs well it arrived the other day and i tried it out first on Iracing and if you play i racing you know that its almost impossible to drift. so then i jumped on Rfactor and the same issue i had with the g27 happened to my t500rs. the chances of me getting two dud wheels from two different manufactures is extremely unlikely but has anybody experienced this issue and could someone give me assistance? ive installed the lastest Thrustmaster drivers and firmware and even re-installed my motherboard drivers and i have no clue what to do. Thank you

Did your G27 ever act as you would expect it to when attempting drifts?
for a while but it only lasted that way for a couple of days. i used to drift in real life with a beat up r31 so i have a indication of what it should be like. why do you ask and thank you for the reply

I was wondering if it was the force feedback information itself that was letting you down. I wouldn't expect it to be a problem with the actual wheel. If it's showing proper centering force I can't see why it would be a motor issue.

Do the test forces all work when you run the control panel? That would make product failure appear unlikely.

yeah the test forces eg crash, gearbox failure and things like that work great and how i expect the wheel to work in game. i think it is a problem with my gaming pc

Three things:
1. Are you using the Thrustmaster drivers and using the correct wheel preset in games? I'm wondering if you have forces reversed somewhere
2. In the Thrustmaster drivers please set centering force and damping to zero, these are not needed for anything but really really old games, and in particular centering force might be the guilty party since it is designed to provide return to center for games without their own FFB, but since it doesn't react to actual game FFB commands this particular setting is often detrimental.
3. Have you tried downloading the live for speed (LFS) demo? That game is recognized as pretty much the best drifting simulator around, definitely worth a go.

Yeah the the recognized wheel is the t500rs on my pc and my centering force is at 12 and has been since i got the drivers. Dampening is at 100 and i used to play lfs and recently downloaded it again to test my wheel and i cant get my wheel nor pedals to work properly my wheel is at 90 degrees when center in lfs and my pedals are inverted and i cant change it. i will try your settings and ill give you a response shortly. thank you

Uninstall your Logitech and Thrustmaster drivers, read the instructions carefully about installing the Thrustmaster drivers: you only plug the wheel in late in the process, I've seen numerous weird issues happening from people incorrectly installing the drivers.

yeah ive also heard of that happening and ive done this a couple times and didnt plug my wheel until instructed. my friend is going to have a look at my pc tomorrow so hopefully there is a fix.
