I don't own a T500RS but as long as the current figures (especially the stall current since that's the highest sustained current the motor driver components will have to handle), shaft length and diameter, physical size of the motor and rpm are all the same too then I'd say that's a straight replacement.

thx for the reply. will definitely order this for future replacement for my t500rs.sry for the late reply ,thx again

Decks01: Please be aware, the t500 motor has a dual shaft design. This means there is a shaft coming out of the rear of the motor as well as the front. The rear shaft is used for the encoder which monitors the position of the motor and in turn the wheel. If the motor you are looking at does in fact have a shaft coming out of the rear as well as the front and the encoder assembly can be installed than you should be fine however many people have tried to locate motors from Buhler and other various companies and the result is always the same. It is quite difficult if not impossible to find production motors that will be a direct replacement. Thrustmaster has their motors made by Buhler specifically with the extra long shaft that will extend from the rear of the motor. If you do happen to find a variation that has the dual shaft design and meets all specifications please let us know as I would like to have a couple extras myself. Hope this info helps, I haven't looked at pics of the part number you posted but I would hate to see you spend money if that motor doesn't have a dual shaft.

Wow really! If that motor is a direct replacement a lot of people will be very happy. I am definitely going to check that out and if it will work ill grab one or two to have myself.

yeah.overpriced .maybe he knows thats the direct replacement.lol.i just ask my supplier here, that it will cause me about 130 dollar including shipping.

im saving money now to order the motor soon thanks again.

So was that a direct replacement? Are people still interested in the T500 motors?

I have an old spare T500 motor I'm going to sell (either here or on ebay). It probably has, at most, 200 - 250 hours on it. It was in a T500 that had something go wrong in the steering shaft. And since I had a spare T500 sitting in a box (from the Microcenter deal that was posted on here), I just swapped the old base for the new one. It's been sitting in a box ever since. But I'm looking to clear a bunch of unused stuff out.

I can post pictures, but I'm not sure if that's frowned upon or not. Or whether there's an interest at all.

hello paul, sorry for the late reply. i thought this thread is dead.lol. to answer the question, many people who own a t500 does not have a problem on the motor itself ,its very realiable.so people wont looking for the motor itself. but im curious of how much you gonna sell the motor only.not the whole servo base but only the motor with the metal gear and magnet that attach to the motor including also the the wiring harness that attach the motor to the pcb.how much its gonna cost me. messages me thx. sorry for my english.

Oops. I'm just as late. Figured it was dead.

Actually, I didn't realize this was a specific thread you created. I lazily assumed this was part of the Fanatec mod thread. I must have been real tired when I posted this, because I should have realized it only consisted of 8 posts.

Guess in my haste I just assumed it was post #8 of the current Fanatec mod thread. LOL

I plan on listing it with all the wires and stuff, but I'm kind of stuck as to what it's actually worth. At a certain value, though, it's not worth the hassle of even tearing it apart and selling it. That's why I was curious if there was still demand (just wrong thread I guess).
