So I've been whoring up the Windows 7 forum (no, not the official MS website, but rather sevenforums.com) and the one nifty feature they have that I thought would be good here, is when you start your own thread there's a tag underneath your location that reads "Thread Starter". And I thought, if possible, it could be a nice and neat way to reference who the OP is...without having to go to the actual OP.

Thoughts?
 
I like the idea, but I can also see "thread whoring" coming in. :indiff:

Besides, I don't know other peoples cases, but I always read the OP to know what's the thread about.

Oh! And we already have something that gives a similar function...

It is an interesting idea, but I don't believe there's a way to do that in our current forum software without a plugin. That's something I'll keep in mind for the future, though. 👍
