The E-Runner Pikes Peak Special that we already have on GT6 is a beast, both on and off road, with its 888 bhp, over 1,600kg kerb weight, and low aero top speed of over 200 mph (in reverse drive as well).

This year however, the E-Runner has been turned up to eleven, thanks to Tajima's collaboration with Remac. This 2015 "Concept_One" version produces 1,475 bhp and 1,500Nm of torque from 0 rpm and weighs in at 1,500kgs. 60 mph arrives in a quoted (and completely believable) 2.2 seconds, and 125 mph arrives in just 5.4 seconds!

I am personally a huge fan of the E-Runner and of EV cars in general, so unsurprisingly I would love to see this monster debut on GT...

"We could go up to the summit, but due to the heavy snow, the course was shortened to Glen Cove, and only the time until there was validated. We suffered from the brake failure, but with the torque vectoring system which Rimac and we developed, we improved the foot-to-summit time by 11 seconds compared to last year. So we believe we could prove the performance. The PPIHC is a great and challenging event, and I am going to continue to climb here next year and even the year after, so please keep supporting us as ever. This year, the race day was my birthday, and I turned 65, but I believe I can still keep up with the young drivers." - Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, after the race
