Take the "DRIVERS" Challenge!

OK, Here we go...

I liked AcuraRacer's PT Cruiser challenge because it challenged the player as a "driver" and as a "tuner"... I decided to follow the same format for my challenge, but with a faster, more liked, car.

Here it is -

Car: Toyota MR2 GT-S (Turbo)
Track: Aprocot Hill (see Run & Setting)
Mods: All
Tunability: Any Settings
Deadline: August 31, 2001

There ya go... Have a blast - PM me with your times (and a picture if you think you got a crazy fast time) and I will post them on September 1st. By the way, if anyone has a problem with me compeating in the challenge, I assure you all that I will not modify ANY times or images I receive during this challenge. I will also have a picture of my time, whether I get first place or dead last.

Oh jeez, almost forget the most crucial rules of the challenge!!

Song: Must be listening to Snoop Doggs track
Sing-a-long?: Yes, you must sing or hum the tune as you race, any error in the tune hummed or sung will result in immediate disqualification.

NOTE: for all those that can not sense my sarcasm, the last two rules... you don't really have to do them.

Going on the last challenge (Laguna-Pt Cruiser) which was on GT3 I would assume this one is also for GT3.

I've been practicing on this challenge for a while and I'm around the 1:19 - 1:22 area on average... hows everyone else doing so far (don't give exacts)

I should have also mentioned that this challenge would also be very HARD when compared to the PT Cruiser challenge, just because those MR cars are a b---- to control for the first 5-10 minutes you are racing with them!

I'm around the 1:18 - 1:21 range. But, you're right ichiro, these cars can get squirrely in the corners.

I can't wait for September 1st for the times to get posted. I think I am doing pretty well in this challenge.

If only that was true Acura! I need luck just like the rest of ya. I havent tried this challenge yet but I'll see what I can do tonight.

OK!! Tried a few settings last night on my MR2 GT-S and was regularly running times between 1:17 - 1:19 with room for improvement!

Who else is taking place in this challenge? Only 3 days left to PM your times to ichiro51 :burnout:

Ok, I have a few times... a couple of people that I knew were in the race, never sent a time... so... check out the new thread with all 4 of the times I got.
