Hi,

I took mine on Ice Arena, if you're in trouble with driving on snow try this car. It's like everything is in slow motion, you have plenty of time to understand what's going on and steer to keep it going where it should. You can easily experiment with weight transfer, you'll get the rear to come around in the hairpins and will still be able to make it any time.

It gets tricky when you start looking for the best lap time as you can't afford to "over slide" any corner. Too much angle and your engine kinda dies. So you have to figure out the shortest line that will keep the engine reving. I also took the Panda for a spin, it's as easy to control as the 2CV and much faster (well it's not that difficult to be faster than the 2CV).

Friends and I will probably setup a 2CV lan ice race, it should be fun as the slightest mistake is paid in tenth not thousands of a second.

If you ever get your 2CV on the snow let me know what you think,

Cheers,

PhM

I love takin the AWD Ruf (fully modded) out on the Rally courses. On pavement with dirt tires, it spins all 4 tires till 120 mph with traction control, lol. Its hilarious on snow courses since you never really gain traction, you just kinda spin/slide yourself around the entire course.

lol i cant remember which car, but i managed to get a car to wheelspin in 6th gear from 0-350kmph 💡

hmm think it might have been the speed12, i was just laughing to much. This was with medium sports or racing tyres and no traction control

Hmm I had a similar problem with my tuned '69 Camaro SS. All driving aids off, when accelerating in 2nd I can only apply about 60% throttle, about 85% in 3rd, and okay from there, but if I floor it in 2nd and keep flooring it through the gears I'll get all the way to 5th with my wheels still spinning :scared:
