Hi everyone, I would like to ask for folks interested to please submit any ideas you have for events, things to do in the game (it can include playing existing GT7 events with certain cars).

I'm struggling for ideas after other projects I've worked on, things are just slow and I don't want to re-tread old ground. I don't know if I could get this out by February without asking for community requests.

Your username of choice will be at the top of an event's page in the program. Please keep custom grids to an absolute minimum if possible, as the idea behind the program is also to be quick-setup races, either being against random opponents, group racing cars, or one-makes (select from garage one-makes with custom names is okay also).

If your event has rain, keep in mind that only regular AI can drive in the rain as of November 2025.

Here's what's in the project currently and what's planned (spoilers if you don't want to find out/if you want to find out when the program releases):

  • [ADDED] Use an Audi R8 4.2 '07 at Trial Mountain Circuit with these specific custom race settings

  • [ADDED] Take a picture of your favourite European car at the Nishi-Shinjuku Scape in Tokyo, Japan.

  • [ADDED] Win an all-Ferrari race at Autodrome Lago Maggiore using these specific custom race settings and the Select from Garage option

  • [ADDED] Beat the Clubman Cup+ event at Tsukuba in a Nissan GT-R '17

  • [ADDED] Race at night at Mount Panorama with Yellow lightbulbs installed on your car

  • [ADDED] Equip a wide body kit, custom wheels, and all available aero parts on a car from 1993 to 2004, and race against random opponents at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Brands Hatch - Grand Prix Circuit, and Tokyo Expressway - Central Clockwise

  • Driving the Super Formula SF23, complete a race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, and Autódromo de Interlagos with these specific custom race settings

  • Complete a lap of x track in y time with z car (lap time will be completed by me to ensure it is possible - I'm a little above average skill wise)

  • Finish 8th or above in torrential rain at Autopolis using these specific custom race settings

  • Use an engine swapped car to beat Group 1/2/3 cars at Watkins Glen International

  • Compete in a custom race at Dragon Trail - Seaside with aero parts and wide tyre track width on your car

  • P1 GT-R one make at Deep Forest Raceway - Full Course

  • GT4 race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

  • GT3 race at Dragon Trail - Gardens Reverse (Magny-Cours kind of circuit)

Hi everyone, I wanted to make a place to post some pictures and show some development updates on the Twine program I'm working on called the Gran Turismo 7 Extended Package, or GT7 EP for short.

This program will be available on itch.io for free and should run on pretty much any modern phone and PC. You won't need to download an app, it will run in the browser. It'll release in February 2026.

In GT7 EP, there will be a large number of curated scenarios that you can be given by selecting to get a random thing to do.

Think of it as a randomiser almost for the single player portion of GT7 and the game as a whole (excluding multiplayer, all gameplay-related scenarios are focused on single player). Some events are also inspired by, or replicate real life.

A lot of the things to do are custom races, and there is a base custom race settings list that you can save and re-load and make event-specific tweaks when a given event shows up.

Some other things could be to take a Scapes picture with a specific type of car at a specific spot. It won't be only races - they'll be the primary thing, but I want to use the whole of GT7 to be a "thing to do". This could include things like "finish in x place in this existing GT7 event with y car".

There won't really be custom grids, not ones that take much time to set up as I know some folks might be turned away by the time required to set up a full grid - either races will be a one-make or random opponents, which the game will auto-generate around your car's PP level.

Here are some screens from GT7 EP. It's still in a pretty early phase but I have the framework in place and I'm excited to add more events with light "story" elements too.

Dialogue choices for an event don't affect other things, but you do get a short unique dialogue path depending on which option you choose.

As development progresses, I'll post some more screenshots in a new comment in this thread.

How do you think up these wonderful items?
Thanks for the kind words ^_^ I just thought it would be a good idea to have an easy way to have new things to do.

It's easy to jump into and after you do the initial setup (saving the custom race settings), the rest is setting up a car for the race and/or doing the race-specific custom race adjustments, which even at the high end of things to change, doesn't take too long.

I've been having fun by flipping the chase the rabbit style races where I make myself the rabbit with Sophy chasing.

The idea is putting yourself in 1st place with the rest of the field in slower cars and last place in the same car as you or similar

e.g custom race setup using Sophy:
  • Boost weak
  • Myself in 1st place group 3 car
  • Rest of the field in group 4 cars
  • Last place group 3 car

Sophy generally catches up after 1-1.5 laps and I have to drive quite defensively to keep the lead.

- Race an EV with over 1,000HP around Trial Mountain.

- Race a classic race car (pre-1975) around the Nordschleife or Road Atlanta

- 30+ Laps at either Brands Hatch Indy or Tsukuba in a hatchback 1v1 using a harder/worse grip tyre compound than your AI opponent.

Thought of a few Forzathon-esque challenges:
  • Focus Club - win a One-Make race in the Ford Focus ST or RS
  • Green Hell - Complete a lap around Nürburgring Nordschleife in any EV or Hybrid car.
  • Fill 'er Up, Please - Make a pit stop and refuel
  • Supra Colorful - Apply any paint to any Toyota Supra
  • Go on a Diet - Apply a widebody on any car.

Theres a fun challenge at the grindfest choice of lemans 700pp 30mins.

My suggestion would be to try and win it with a AE86 supercheged. The low horsepower makes this a interesting race, and you mighr be even praying for rain.

Another option on the same event is to try and win it with a FF car capped at 270bhp, with at least front and wing aeroparts installed

New set of challenges I made up:
  • Adventure is Out There - Win a dirt/snow race in the Toyota RAV4 Adventure
  • Caged Up - Apply a roll cage on any car
  • Clever Girl - Drive 50 miles in the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
  • Cover Art - Take a Scapes photo of the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 and Porsche Vision Gran Turismo together
  • High Roller - Buy a car from the Legends Dealership

Thanks everyone for your posts, I have been a bit unmotivated the last few days but I've almost implemented one event posted here, and I'm going to get the rest in by this time next week and post images of them in a new post.

Not only do I appreciate your posts, but this is also invaluable for the project because like I said, I think I'm just burnt out on ideas for big-ish GT projects without re-treading old ground. The ideas you guys have had are great.

I don't want to rely solely on the work of others, so I will for sure be adding some more of my own so that it's at least close to, or is an even split, but at the same time, there's no way this project would be out by February without your guys' events.

This is definitely a more community sourced project in that sense now, and that's totally fine! I have no issue with that.

One thing I wanted to mention @Lilium is that events you submit do have to be possible to beat. So if you're sending a challenge run of an existing event, it has to be doable before submission, as I don't want to have potentially impossible events in there.

If you have already won/finished within the top 3/6 and that's the objective for the event, that's totally fine. Just let me know so I know if that's okay.

By "possible" it just has to be that you can achieve a finishing position within the set window of positions you have as part of the event's completion requirements (top 3/6 etc.).

@Theufcveteran yes, its not an impossible event.

But to make it more accessible, as a event in a hard/pro difficulty, I would say a top 8/6 for a dry race, and a top 3 for a race with rain.

Basicly, with either the ae86 supercharged, or an street FF at 270bhp, you"ll have to draft on the straights, and you win time on the corners. The bad brake performance of the street cars compared with Gr.4 evens out. And you'll also have to monitor your fuel.

Its really an engaging event imo.
We just need to get out of the "I'm in 1st on lap 2" mindset.

As a low A+ driver, I usually finish well within the top 5 in the dry, and win on heavy rain. Light rain is usually a 2nd place. It really depends on the AI pit timing with the rain

But you can also make it more accessible to other drivetrains, by nerfing the bhp on those.
But main decising factor would be to be a street car.
