Just tonight, I started on the licenses again as a form of practice for GT4, and I wanted to know if anyone else had done the same.

By the way, I went from 6 golds to 22 withing 2 hours. Bronzes have depleted to 9. Oy, I need GT4. :)

yes ive done that,

Golded 26 in matter of hours, Silver in nearly all excpet S and Rally. BTW ive only attempted B,A,IB,IA so far. 6 more golds and they are all golded, 2 on IB and 4 on IA

Famine said the licenses in GT4 will be easier, but there are 80 of them, all of which he of course golded. He also stated that S16 made S8 look like a walk in the park. S8 was a walk in the park for me. Is this good?

Rally is the only major area that needs work, with 7 bronzes and 1 silver, and S3(?) (The miata at Trial Mt.) is a bit**.

I havn't actuly tried practicing for GT4, I' still trying to gte all golds.
If I want to practice for GT4 I put Prologue in the PS2 and have some runs in school mode.

Jack , you know what.
You'll never ever complete to get all gold on GT4 Prologue :p

my time for all gold is in my signature under writup ... :)

Yea, I just started GT3 all over too! I don't mind if the license test are difficult, just not TOO hard. I had problems w/ one particular rally test (the one w/ the Lancer).

Did he seriously think you would beat all 3 from scratch?

GT2 was the only GT game i ever had got 100%. though im sure i will get 100% in GT4

You have a 'de-bugged' copy, Small_Fryz? Or is that 98.2%-100%? Manufacturer races suck.:)

i have two gt3's, one in jamaica, and one here in canada. i have the money cheat with the one in jamaica and i'm at about 90% of the game. i don't have the money cheat with the one here in canada, and i'm at 87%. i only have about 12 golds in my licences, and the rest are bronze... lol. takes too much time to get gold.

I started GT3 over again around December. I played through the license tests as I come to them for each event, and I don't stop on the license until I get all gold and my bonus car. It's amazing after completing the game how much easier some of the license tests become. Then, it's amazing how hard the ones were you never wanted to see again. It's pretty easy to get gold through B and A pretty quickly, then it's just picking up a few golds here and there to add on to the list. I still lack four gold licenses all from the S category.

I've read in another forum I post at about the Mission Hall in GT4, and supposedly, it's a little different than the license tests. It's basically a challenge where you have to achieve a certain position within the time or do some task. For example, take 1st within three laps on test course while in 4th place in an underpowered car (or something of that sort).

About 2 months ago I decided to try to finish GT3 in the lowest amount of game days possible (famine's thread) I think it was 219 days or something like that. You can't exit out of any races - you have to get gold in everything the first time. The licenses you can get bronze in but you can't exit until you atleast have bronze, and you can't go back to get gold if you do exit out. Anyway, I decided I wanted to gold all the licenses first, and it took me 2 days.

I think the biggest difference was having the DFP. It is almost impossible not to spin the wheels on the high horsepower cars using the DS2, but with the DFP it is a helluva lot easier. In particular, I know it took me 3 days to gold the final rally exam the first time I played it, but this time around I got it on my 2nd full attempt (there were about 10 times I smashed into a wall and it automaticaly failed me).

Also, my first time through I didn't gold any of the S-licenses, but they seemed easy this time through. I golded the last S-license exam (GT-ONE on monaco) the very first time I attempted it.
