This is the ultimate version of the Talbot-Matra Murena, which went into production from 1980.

If I'm not mistaken, the Murena was the first ever production car to have a WHOLE galvanized chassis using a hot-dip galvanization process. Which would makes this car a historically valuable piece for collectors and Gran Turismo. The same technology was then used for the Renault Espace and the Renault Avantime on the same production line.
As they did with the Renault Espace, one Murena was modified to receive a Matra MS81 Formula 1 engine (showing it wasn't their first attempt at this..). Few others for rallye or racing purposes.
