um...Microsoft doesn't actually build hardware. the mice and keyboards are probably built by someone else like Intel or Logitech and just have the Microsoft name slapped on them. and everyone I know who has a Zune, hates it. (one friend even commented that the progress bar looks like urine) And The Zune wasn't built by MS either, just has their name on it. Windows 7 is the best product they've released in a while, but the thing is, they stole a lot from Mac. Which is fine.
But the 360 is a testament to the mindset of MS. I mean, yeah, it was "rushed." well, not really. If you rush a product, you assume that they'll be bugs but aren't very clear on what's wrong. Microsoft, KNEW about the RROD before the system was released. And if you rush a product, generally, only some of the systems are buggy and the bugs get fixed faster. The ENTIRE initial system was plagued with the RROD. And the problem persisted until the last couple years. The problem, however, wasn't the bugs in the system (which their were) it was how the system was built. The graphics card was sandwiched between the case and something else and didn't have sufficient room to breathe nor did the system have enough cooling ability, and eventually, the graphics card melted and warped and caused the RROD and now the new error.
Hopefully, with the smaller version, however, they removed the stupid store-bought DVD player and gave it better cooling and stuff. Perhaps they took a peek at the PS3 Slim..or even the PS2 slim and figured out how actual hardware makers do things.
