Hi everyone! I’m still an amateur, but I want to share my tuning setup for the Ferrari F40. We all know this car is an absolute nightmare to drive when fully upgraded (Stage 5 weight reduction + max power), but I spent a lot of time trying to tame it for the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
I managed to do a 6:49.199 lap with this setup! You can watch my lap and see the full tuning sheet at the end of this video:
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE ON WHEELS & TIRES:
In my previous posts, I made a small mistake. Please make sure you set the wheels exactly like this to prevent handling issues:
💡 Driving Tips for this setup:
I use a PS5 controller and sometimes a Logitech G29. If you don't have an expensive steering wheel, don't worry—you can still drive this!

- Rim Size: 18 Inch
- Tire Width: Wide
- Wheel Offset: Standard
💡 Driving Tips for this setup:
- Don't lift off 100%: Keep about 5-10% throttle in high-speed corners (like Kesselchen) to keep the rear end planted.
- Short Shifting: In tricky corners, shift up one gear early to prevent the massive turbo boost from spinning your rear wheels.
- Straight-line braking only: Squeeze the brakes smoothly and avoid braking while the steering wheel is turned.
