Targa Tasmania is a tarmac-based rally event held on the island state of Tasmania, Australia, annually since 1992. The event takes its name from the Targa Florio, a former motoring event held on the island of Sicily. The competition concept is drawn directly from the best features of the Mille Miglia, the Coupe des Alpes and the Tour de Corse.

Any part of this would be epic! Even Eric Bana (the actor) modified his car to race there! And crashed...

Holy **** I can't believe someone else had this idea! Mega kudos to you putting this one up. Tasmania is absolutely flowing with beautiful scenery and driving roads. I should know as I have lived in Tasmania for over 20 years and driven many of these roads. Very cool cars raced in Targa too and it was also how I was able to meet Peter Brock as a young 'un. Needless to say he was a total class act.

I think its safe to say that Targa Tasmania is quite a gem that not many people would have heard of.
