Tauro Sport Auto is a Spanish manufacturer of luxury sports cars based in Valladolid, founded in 2010, when a group of Spanish businessmen joined with a British manufacturer of racing cars to create the company.

In the summer of 2012 Spanish specialist manufacturer Tauro Sport Auto announced the limited production Tauro V8 Spider, the V8 Spider takes us back to the traditional formula of front engine and rear wheel drive that defines the pure roadster.

Under the hood is GM's latest LS3 V8. Displacing just under 6.2 litre, the all-aluminium unit produces around 440 hp in standard trim. Tauro Sport Auto also offers higher performance version with 480 hp and ultimately 530 hp on tap. A close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox with a limited slip differential comes as standard, while an automatic is available as option.

The rolling chassis is tightly wrapped in a bespoke body, which offers just enough room to seat two. The design is unique but does incorporate cues from some of the great roadsters of the past. The car boasts a conventional, fabric foldable roof. The V8 Spider has a kerb weight of 1,350 kg, with a near perfect balance of 53% over the front and 47% over the rear axle.

It looks OK from the outside, the I saw the interior that looks like it was lifted straight from a Pontiac Solstice.

Voted. Suprisingly good looking car albeit interior could have been better. Nevertheless, this would be a great advertisment for Spain. If Polyphony Digital could incorporate few Cupra models of Seat that would be perfect.

And what about this Spanish car?

Nah, this 1072 HP monster is much better:

:sly:

The best way to introduce certain manufacturer to the public is via massive production range, which is what Seat offers. Obscure models from small companies should come afterwards, more like a desert after a decent meal. I believe Cupras will appear soon, so I'll knock on the wood for that and vote for both cars - there you go !

And for the record: the exteriors of both cars is just terrible, completely uninspiring. 👎 :p
