Searched for a while on the forum, but didn't find anything relevant concerning GT4.

I know prologue PAL as the option of turning TCS and ASM off, but does/will NTSC *UK?* will?

Following that, 'ny word on GT4 final? NTSC...?

Hi all,i am new here.Been a fan of the series from day 1 i layed my eyes on GT.
Just wanted to say hi and reply to the above users question.

PAL is the UK version and as far as i know there have been no reports on a NTSC(North American) version of Prologue.

Yep PAL is Europe NTSC is US, the option will be there in the UK version, I say that for 2 reasons, 1 why would PD take it out? and 2 because the UK version will be the same as the Japanese version only in English ofcourse and with an added time attack feature which I read in a mag this month. And welcome to GTP GTChamp

So if an AMerican NTSC version of Prologue appears eventually, chances are, we won't be able to disable TCS and AMS?

Why does the Japanese prologue not support Time Attack?

I am actually happy to hear that prologue is coming out here at last!!

I think I managed to do a 'Time Attack' via disabling cpu opponents & doing arcade races :) (Where it actually records times) Atleast it works with Citta d Aria, if cpu opponents are on it doesn't record a time :irked: even though Citta has no opponents :(

Panda race around Citta d Aria anyone? :D

ok, lets get to the point then.

Is there a chance, to disable TCS and AMS stuff in an eventual American NTSC GT4 version. (Prologue or not).

I'm sure you will be able to. They would not sweat so hard to make the game so realistic, and then hamper it with something so easily not done.

It's ASM not AMS. And why do you think anyone knows?

Theres no reason why not, but how the hell would anyone know about a game that so far doesn't exist.

man is everyone always that negative around here?

I asked because i saw mentioned in other posts that we can't do that in NTSC versions?

I can't seem to disable those fonctions on GT3... even if in the options they are off, they appear as on on the dashboard. That's why.

The reason for the negativness, is because just a few posts up, I said there is no plan for GT4:P to be released in the US yet. When you say you've turned the ASM and TCS off in GT3 are youusing arcade mode cars or sim mode cars. The options for them on or off only effect the arcade mode cars, if you want to take them off on your garage cars you have to go into the cars settings and take it off there, it's on the same screen as the downforce options.

Ahhh Thats why it would never go off. Thanks.

as for the Prologue, my qestion was formulated as such: "...in an eventual American NTSC GT4 version. (Prologue or not)..."

Thanks for clarifying.
