Have not played td2 sense it came out it's it more like td1 now I know when a played td1 came out then dlc came out what made it much more fun high jumps two wheels not just stuck to the road like glue soo jw if they made a dlc for td2 like they did for td1 to make it better ?

They are releasing DLC 2 in February. Supposedly, it will come with bikes, new cars, new items, and a bunch of tweaks and fixes. Go to the official site for info.

Nice (wink wink )

It better be a cheap one-price car pack like all the other racing games do. That 99-cents-per-car thing they've got going now is bogus, I wonder how many people actually spent the extra cash just to get a 599 with a speedo in Chinese, or a green Camaro, etc.

Sang bleu veyron was worth it, That thing is just gorgeous with that raw aluminium body panels and blue tinted carbon fiber.

anywho, mostly looking forward to the F40.

also, TDU2>TDU seriously. way way way more things to do and the night and rain just add to the fun, rallying through the woods in the rain in a replica of solbergs impreza is just awesome.

also i love the livery, since i make a alot of replicas that take time, so a great way to spend time.
Plus, it is no limits to the layers unlike forza. a big +

You still need enough money to purchase the car in-game.

Yeah.. this is bad thing in the game. After all races are completed its hard to earn money. Grinding same race again and again for 20k cash is so boring! I would buy some DLC cars for sure if I wouldn't need to grind to drive them.

TDU 1 is still my all time favourite game to this day, I played it for a good 4 years, I was lucky to get 4 months out of the sequel.

I haven't played TDU2 for several reasons, but it's mainly since it changed what made the first one so good and fun to play. I still play TDU1 from time to time, and even though I only see an average of 7 other people online, for me, tearing down the Oahu highways in a Noble M400 is still one of the most enjoyable things I've done in any game, ever.

I have to agree here. I got TDU1 some time after it came out and I was completely blown away. When I played TDU2 though, it felt... extremely awkward. As if Eden were trying too hard to make it better than TDU1.

I didn't play TDU1 a single time lately though... are the servers still open? In that case I'd definitely pick it up again.

I think TDU is better simply because the physics are more natural, but really the physics in TDU 2 are still extremely similar. It has the same exact feel except it takes a little more effort because they mucked up the tire physics.

Plus TDU 1 has WAY more events. TDU 2 has much better graphics, newer cars, and it is still TDU. I agree that TDU is better, and in my opinion one of the greatest racing games of all time with out a doubt the best non simulation racing game ever (although sometimes I swear it borders on simulation handling wise). SO TDU 2 had a tough act to follow, I still think its a great game.

Do you use a wheel?

IMO. TDU2 feels horrible with a wheel. Lifeless, boring, empty. The FFB is spotty at best, non-existent at worst.

I want to love the game, because it's such a great idea and environment. However, it all seems wasted due to a lack of focus on driving. When I think about how much time was spent on crap like plastic surgery, furniture, clothing etc., it makes it hard to believe the same people who made the first one were involved with the second one.

I do use a wheel and my biggest gripe with TDU 2 is the FFB. Unless you're on a windy road, you don't really feel the FFB. It's annoying. I find increasing the damping to the max that you can stand helps but I agree it's spotty.

For me it's still not enough to ruin the game though. Not only do I like the idea of the game, I just love racing point to point routes that I don't know. It's really exciting because you have to pay attention. Sometimes it can be super frustrating, especially some driving challenges where they want you to drive the route better than perfectly and if you make too many mistakes it'll disqualify you.

I also love the graphics. Some of the building look bad and the trees don't look great but everything else looks awesome and especially when you get into the more scenic places it's just really immersive and cool to play.

Also, I love the car selection. It's missing some really obvious stuff but it also has a bunch of cars I can't get in any other games so that's another reason I really like it.

What made me want to get the first one was my second favorite car, the Chrysler ME 412, and what made me want to get TDU 2 was my 5 veyrons, ariel atoms, koenigsegg, caterham superlight, Aston Martin One 77, etc.

I think TDU 2 gets a bad rap because the first one was better but really, aside of maybe driver san fran (which I haven't played more than the demo), I really don't think there's anything even remotely better in that genre. All the NFS games suck horribly, burnout sucks, and so does midnight club.

TDU 2 isn't perfect but it definitely beats the other options in the arcade genre, and as a sim racer fiend, I like to divert my attention here and there. TDU fills that need perfectly

The only thing here I don't fully agree with is the cars that brought you to the game. :)
I just want them to fix the FFB and tweak the (tire) physics so I can truly enjoy all they have to offer.
