Hello again everyone.Many of you may already know of me from my "Tuning Garage Database" thread in GT5.I now have something else for you guys that may be of some help.
As we all know the steering set-up isn't exactly too great for this game,so i've been messing around with the settings trying to get a good all-around feel until this gets fixed(here's hoping).
This set-up is for users who own a Driving Force GT Wheel.I'm not so sure how well these settings will be for other wheels.Also i use the First Person View and Cockpit as these two views work best with these settings.The other views have a delayed reaction,maybe it's just how the game is set-up...who knows.
Now before you use these settings be sure you write down what you used before this.Some may like this setting and some may not.When you get to the Controller Configuration screen be sure to slide all of your sliders to the left as i will give you this(example...+2)to let you know how many clicks to the right to go with the sliders.
Now on to the settings.
Vibration - +3
Force Feedback - Medium
Steering Sensitivity - +2
Speed Factor - +10
Steering Damping - +7
Deadzone - +2
Clutch,Throttle,Brake - +5
I hope this helps out many of those looking for a good set-up.I've spent many days working with the settings and these work the best for me.I hope they work good for you guys as well. 👍
