First of all, I've been watching a few youtube videos of TDU2. It seems like a really fun game, and according to some people, it's even more fun with the G27.

I currently own a G27 and have been playing a lot of GT5 with it. But I just wanted to know, should I buy TDU2? Does the G27 enhance the fun factor in the game?

One other thing, I'm buying it for the PS3, are the controls messed up? Does that ruin the gameplay?

It has a horrible delay with wheels, but it is a very fun game and worth it, I have 110cars and 24 houses! Hit me up and add SublimeV12 to TDU friends, it's worth the money

Horrible game with a wheel, good fun for a short while though, atleast when it works. Not sure if they have fixed the online yet, but it was almost completely broken and you could not log in for weeks after release.

yeah I've seen a couple of reviews, but the problem is, I wanna drive with the wheel cuz roaming around a whole city would be BORING with a DS3

I think the game is pretty good with a wheel, using the proper settings, once you adjust to the 'different' physics. ;)

Anyone suggest a different racing game I should get on PS3? That's good enough to be played on the G27?
Well after a while I give MCLA (midnight club L.A.) a second chance, it's arcade but now with this game I'm having lot of more fun with a wheel than a DS3. It's a totally different world from a sim racing game, obviously the physics, and the fact you are running on the streets with LOT OF cars. FFB is light but I think its the best choice for these kind of games. AI is very challenging, and the game once you get faster cars become chaotic, like Wipeout (I love Wipeout :) ). If you like to slalom traffic a la "fast n foorious" and you are looking for some arcade fun MCLA is an option. If you want a new title and you like rally go buy Dirt 3, no doubt.
Other interesting titles with a wheel are: Dirt 1 & 2, F1 2010, F1 CE (but it has 2006 licence), Superstars V8 Next Challenge, Supercar Challenge, Shift 2 (but it freeze), WRC (try the demo first). PS I have a DFGT.

Lol I played Midnight Club L.A. on the PSP and I loved it xD And btw, you said that the wheel on shift 2 freezes, how? is the game still worth it with the wheel?

No, it's the actual Shift 2 game freezing, not the wheel. I for one, have only experienced freezing 5 or 6 times, and since the latest patch haven't had any freezes. I think the game is definitely worth the money, especially if you're using a wheel.

I've got shift 1, great game with the wheel. Especially when you've set the steering lock at 900.

TDU1 was a GREAT game, I just thought that 2 will be even better, turns out it's worse -.- So I guess I'm just gonna go buy shift 2

I agree, I was banging my head at the handling with the wheel until I tweaked it and using hardcore give more control of the car. Like Grid,NFS Shift and Shift 2 the default wheel settings are garbage.

Now I enjoy this game so much more. Can't always take a few bad examples and go with it. Take the good and the bad together and don't limit yourself to this board.

I'm confused :( Cuz I love racing games where there are big environments to drive in, but with all the flaws of TDU2.. I dunno
