Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth,
Before TDU2 I just came from GT5, so I knew I was in for a real challenge.
First tried my DS3, because I was used to playing TDU1 on my PC with a controller.
Alright, so I give, TDU2 with a controller is bad enough to drive one insane. Never before have I felt such twitchy handling in a game, it's not just bad, it's so bad it's just plain evil. Honestly, how on earth can someone just mess up handling that was near perfect in the first game so bad. It still makes me wonder sometimes.
But then I tried the DFGT. Not perfect, but right from the get go a whole lot better! Just fiddled with the settings, and after reading the TDU2 controller setup guide (google it) and going over some opinions on forums I managed not only to get an acceptable handling; it's actually way more perfect than TDU1 ever was!
Honestly, give this game another chance with a wheel. I do not own and have never tried other wheels than the DFGT but I do know that steering with this wheel after some tinkering, feels natural. I could even say it almost feels like a bit more of an arcadey GT5 than anything else if that makes sense. After GT5 I've never had so much fun coping with those 90 degree corners ever!
I'll post my settings tomorrow, I'll be going to bed now because I don't feel very well. Will turn on the game tomorrow to post the exact configuration!
Greetz!
