Team Racing- New League

Alright guys, my accounts new on the forum, but I'm not, I just preferred a new name. And here's the deal, this is my first attempt at making a league and racing series.

GUIDELINES SO FAR


1- Cars will be on a team based on car model or make.

Example- Mazda MX-5s will race together, or any model Mazda (with in certain PP and if decided) will race together and be on a team.

2- Cars used will be decided on by each team. (under a certain PP)

4- Races will be continuous with an open track for 10 minutes before the race. A team can use any car of the same model (or make, if decided, with in a PP) Cars used will obviously change and the max allowed PP will be slowly risen with each race.

5- There will be either 4 teams with 3 driver on each team or 3 teams with 4 drivers on each team. (Max participants will be 12, connection permitting)

6- Track will be voted for by the lobby

7- Only ABS and Traction control are allowed

8- Max PP will be selected by host and slowly increased as each race passes.

9- Racing will be clean or dirty. Voted for via comments.

10- NO TRASH TALKING. YOU MUST APOLOGIZE IF YOU CAUSE AN ACCIDENT DURING A "CLEAN" RACE. apologies unnecessary if race is dirty. (Of course, you can apologize once race is complete)

Lastly, please comment with any rules and changes you'd like. Races will be all day on Saturdays and are open to anyone. Add me, Bugatti1997 and my new GT5 account SuBMWaru to join the races. Send message telling me your joining for "Team Races"

Maybe if you state what cars you're going to drive?

And I don't know about the format.. It's like different cars each Saturday, or what?

Are you going to count points? Will there be a standings table? Or will each Saturday be a single event?

If it's a single event, try throwing this to the spot race section.. If you're trying to gather some kind of group, this is the correct place. If you're creating a championship, place this thread in the Racing Series thread, unless you just want to guage the interest. If so, I suggest you move it to the interest checks thread.


The OP: Try to use pictures, and colors. not too much, but some. It will make your seies/club look more interesting.
On a site like this, where there's a lot of different and well managed series to atake part in, you really need to try extra hard to help your series to shine thru.

I would hope this isn't a one time event. Maybe every Saturday would be awesome.

To gain points your team must have two drivers in the podium spots. (I will edit the score system later, I can't right now)

This is a new series, so yes it's not perfect, but I am working on it!!

Try to iron out as much as possible and throw in some nice photos and tables and stuff and you'll have a much better ground to attract drivers from.
