Ok all this is a preliminary thread to gauge interest in a top tuner contest over three events, Event 1 will be a Drag Racing contest, Event 2 is a top speed test, Event 3 is a time attack contest over 3 distinct and different courses to best determine the best overall vehicle driver and tune.
so far after discussing with my team here are the intial rules and regs.
No Race cars,RM,RXC,TC,Tuner,Concept or Prototype/LM road cars
No car above 680HP (NO EXCEPTIONS)
No car below 1320KG (NO EXCEPTIONS)
No AWD cars
Once contest begins if you enter your garage for any reason thats an instant DQ
If someone "drops" unexpectedly for any reason other then network instability thats an instant DQ
If someone who does drop for the above reason but returns with there vehicle in a different state. ie drop out before top speed test with a Wing on there vehicle but returns missing it thats an instant DQ.
All Events except for the Drag Racing event will be held with tire wear and fuel consumption On!
Full Vehicle Damage will be On for all Events to help hinder and reduce anyones attempt to cheat specifically in the time attack portion.
Slip Stream will be On weak during all events.
Grip Will be on Low for all events.
All Cars will be allowed Racing Hard Tires only for all events
oh and of course no aids will be available for any of the events
All legs of the Event offer a 10 point maximum for the winner of each leg. IE max score possible 60 points and minimum score possible is 18 points
for places 2nd through 8th will earn 9,8,7,6,5,4,3 points respectively
Drag event is one leg and will be held on Fuji Super GT
Top Speed Stage of the event is going to be run as follows, A driver will enter the course and as they approach the first tunnel they will stop and begin their first top speed attempt then they will repeat the same through the second tunnel, once they have finished the top speed portion of the stage they will immediately continue the course to begin their hot lap time. you are only allowed one lap to set your hot lap. if you wreck while attempting it you can return to the lobby and wait for all other drivers to finish their runs then re attempt there top speed timed lap, if your wreck again you will either have to finish the lap or quit and receive a DNF which is only good for 3 points.
Time Attack Event is split up over 3 Legs on 3 different courses. each driver will be allowed only 2 hot laps to set there time.

Course 2
Suzuka Circuit Full
Course 3
SPA Circuit
The tourney will be limited to 8 spots. In the event that there are more then 12 but less then 16 participants the lower 4 placing participants of Round one will be given the opportunity to participate in round 2 in finishing order depending on how many ope spots would be available but if there are less then 12 but more then 8 participants the lowest placing participants of Event 1 will eliminate each other through a to be determined competition to determine participating drivers.
