Hey there guys!

So if you've been keeping up with my statuses for the last few days, you'll know that I recently bought an NES. I got it yesterday, so here it is!

Sweetness, huh? This thing is in pretty much perfect visual condition; only a few minor scratches here and there. It came with everything you see where: two controllers, an NES Zapper light gun, and a Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt multicart that we'll get to in a second.

As you can see, the controllers and the Zapper are also in immaculate condition:

The controllers are pretty great to use too, especially the D-pad. Everything has just the right amount of resistance, and I really like the Zapper's clicky trigger. Super satisfying. :) Sucks that you can't use it with a modern TV though. Fortunately I have a CRT in the other room that I can use to play Duck Hunt.

I have no idea why Nintendo put the A/V ports on the side, but it's actually kind of cool because it makes it easier to get to them. Speaking of, it also came with an RF adapter, because those are still in use on modern TVs, right?

Die, dragon picture!! (Not gonna lie... she's actually kind of cute though. And pretty.)

And here it is, among my collection. In this shot you can see I've also got a Dreamcast and a Genesis. On the shelf below is a broken Atari Flashback 3.

Usually, the Genesis and NES would be rivals. But here, they're soda buddies!

And finally, my entire NES collection. As I said above, the SMB/Duck Hunt multicart came with it, but today I went out and picked up Life Force.
