TLG's Racing Tournament.

4 Teams.
3 Racers on a team.
4 Tracks.
16 Cars.

1 Winner.

This is the first of many racing events by Team Lotus GT5.

The events will start on the first of January, and will be structured over four races of various tracks with various rules. The races will be recorded and put on youtube. (atleast highlights.)

There will be a team championship aswell as a drivers championship. At the end of the 'Season', the points will be added up and the winning driver will be awarded a rare car, and the team that wins will also all recieve special cars.

Tournament Point System:

1st Place: 25pts
2nd Place: 18pts
3rd Place: 15pts
4th Place: 12pts
5th Place: 10pts
6th Place: 8pts
7th Place: 6pts
8th Place: 4pts
9th Place: 2pts
10th Place: 1pts

RACE "WEEKEND" QUALIFYING RULES.
There will be 10 minutes practise before qualifying, as we wait for people to join the lobby, then we will go to 15 minute qualifying session. After the 15 minutes are up, we will start the race. The faster you are in Qualifying, the higher up the grid you will start.

If someone is on a flying lap on a qualifying session, let them through. Do not block anyone, and be careful when joining the track from the pits. Failure to abide by these rules may result in penalisation.

The first race will be on January the 1st, and will be 15 laps around the Top Gear Test Track in lightweight British cars. (Under 1000kg) Driving aids are forbidden, apart from ABS. Cars such as the AC Cobra or the Opel Speedster are allowed , as they are British cars. (Make sure they weigh under 1000kg via mods) This will be a simple race, just to start the tournament off, as there are no pit stops.

The second race will be held at Trial Mountain on the 6th of January, and will be for cars running 505 BHP maximum. There will be 20 laps, and pit stops will be a big part of this race. Again, Driving aids will be banned except for ABS.

The third race will be a NASCAR event around daytona on the 16th of January. This race will be another 20 lap race, bumping bumpers at 200 mph. The NASCARS have to be stock, except for suspension tunes and brake tunes. ALL driving aids will be turned off including ABS, because ABS slows the cars down and so drivers using it will be at an unfair advantage. If you do not have a NASCAR, you can use the one from the 'recommended' list of cars online.

The final race will be 6 laps around the infamous Circuit de la Sarthe, aka, Le Mans on the 23rd of Jan. LMP cars will be driven, such as the Audi R10 or the Minolta, with a BHP limit of 900bhp. This race will be a test of driving abilities on one of the most demanding tracks in Europe, if not, the world. All driving aids apart from ABS are banned for this race.

Rules:

No unfair manouvers. (Blocking violently, Ramming, Slow out of Pits etc.)
Any ramming or other manouvers seen unsporting will result in a warning. Two warnings lead to a disqualification from the championship. (only for
the racer, not the team.)
Racing Softs have to be used.
Three racers in a team
Having a teams cars the same colour will help but is not compulsary.
The points from the season will be added up and the winning team and driver get special cars.
Team orders, such as moving over so another teammate can win for more points is allowed, BUT mics are prohibited.
If you spin out, don't floor it into oncoming traffic, but wait until the track is clear.
Races will be held at 5pm UK Time. (Mainland Europe 6pm)

ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME, AND IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE TOURNAMENT, LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW AND CONTACT ME ON MY PSN:

Thanks,
Jake.

Are the dates okay? is it just the timing?

Yeah, I just have a weird schedule. I will do my best to work around whatever works for everyone else.

Edit: That is to say, those dates are as good as any, but sometimes I work days and sometimes I work nights. Actually, I am hopefully in the process of getting a new job that will maybe be less erratic and allow me to race at more consistent times.

All the races are at weekends, do you still work then? it's 5pm UK time, I dont know what that is where you are... I can change the rules as its still early days to something that suits you

Yeah, I usually work weekends with the *current* job (I am a waiter at a restaurant). Like I said though, I am hopefully in the process of changing my job. I believe 5pm UK is noon here, which should theoretically be alright if I can at least stop working double shifts all the time. Thanks for your willingness to find a suitable time for me!
