If the 30 second countdown rule comes into play, the leading car at the end of the countdown will be deemed the winner.
All head to head races will start from the pit lane grid positions detailed and specified below. The Driver Listed on the left hand side of each pairing will begin first on the grid.

Awesome.👍

How do Group B no who we're racing, is it everyone racing at once? That could be very hard to organise a time to race. Or is one team racing another team?

EDIT: Oh good, you've edited it now. Got ya.👍 Thanks for the quick reply.👍

But we are racing Dan and Tizzla. That is going to be near impossible to beat those two. They have to be two of the fastest racer's I know on one Team! Oh well, all we can do is try.:nervous:

Great to meet you two.👍 We just need to find a time to race these two other fast blokes from down under. I'll pm you at some point.👍

Sound as a pound, Just give me a day or so to get some lap's in with this combo. Then tell me where i need to be at what time. (time isn't a problem, day or night)

Awesome.👍 holl01, TIZZLA and I will probably all be on in the AU/NZ night so we just need to organise that between us all I suppose to get a certain time.👍

Online f########k!!!!!

Sorry ive read it many times but i dont really understand. Its whoever comes first out of the four drivers basically?.

Zujo, I was wondering our TT is to be done online or offline (PSN)?

I don't understand why group A does offline timetrials while group B does online races?
If we're to race with 4, will the start be a running start? In a 12 car race the position differences might be considerable?

I thought it was quite clear, from what I understand Zujo has wrote, online race is accumulated positions when the race finishes. Your place plus your team mates place added together (1st & 4th) so your team has a place of 5th. Same with whoever your racing, they finish the race in (2nd & 6th)they would be 8th over all. So the one with the lowest over all finishing position, would be the winner of that race.

Same happens with the time trial, your time plus your team mate time added together, the team with the lowest over all time from time trial from both couples when added together, would be the winner.

Hope that has helped.

Yes I know its going to be a little awkward with general racers in the same race, but that’s what gives it a different twist. :sly:

I changed rules a bit,who finish first of 4 but lower skilled drivers can too win race because best driver in team have to pit 3 times so it is good twist.
@bigracer because 1 driver in team have NTSC and other have PAL so they can't race online.
@Marooned you drive online not offline and you can write your time in thread anytime you want.👍

How do we put down our own and the other's laptimes?
Also, in your first post, Zujo, you write 'if 5 laps are not possible' ... you probably mean 10 laps?

I wrote 10 lap race bu it is 5 lap race.
@bigracer It writes clear, you send me private message.

I have done a TT already but not yet posted which is here.

http://d4t.firemonkey.co.uk/jp/gt5p/ranking/co9ca24s1m0.html

But now I have till the 7th to improve on that.

I was still going on what you first posted as the rules for the event. It does get a little confusing if you change the rules as I dont read through all the posts.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=115813&page=4

This is still the main event page and all information should be here, this way you can keep us all upto date with any changes.

Jeez forgot about this one.

Mmm this is a little confusing, so I am in time trial and no race?

F40 on S2's with the controller, that should be fun! lol

Ok I will get my times in by the end of the weekend.

 Great...our team looks to be at a bit of a disadvantage with this one. I use a pad as well :yuck:

On another note, I was really hoping that we were ONLY going to be doing heads up RACING for the Team Championship and not TT's :(

Ah don't worry, I am a little better than my Time trial showing would suggest, though, I do find it tough with these tail happy high torque cars.

As for the Controller, do you suggesst that I change my accelerate and brake to the R buttons and shifting to circle/square much like the Forza controller set up? It is really tough to modulate throttle with the X button, was not so bad on GT4 but GT5P physics seem a little more unforgiving.

Every guy who drive TT have to submit replay except if you are in top 10!

I use the x and square for gas and brake as well 👍 Most of the modulation I achieve is simply through tapping the buttons :dopey: It's not humanly possible to precisely and consistanly modulate the x and square buttons, so constantly tapping the buttons to adjust for your grip and line is the only option left.

As far as ideal button configurations, it really depends on what works for you. The only time I'll switch to the shoulder pads is if I'm driving an extremely throttle happy car around particular tracks...like the GTLM on N tires at Daytona. I don't like the shoulder buttons all that much because they are a bit awkward for my hands/fingers and also the triggers aren't very linear or accurate in their application anyway...so I've just stuck with what works fine for me in just about any situation.

Once I do some laps with this thing I'll let you know what I find in regards to my button configurations and what I find works best

Cool sounds like a plan, well I will await your response. I will try with both options too and see what works best for me. The main problem with the F40 is the long gearing and the sudden lunge in torque once over the turbo lag, it really fires forward making modulation even more difficult. When I use the car outside of the time trial, I often lower the gear ratios much like how the car is geared in real life, this way I have a more flexible option when accelerating from a corner as with the current set up, it is either bog down or spin!!Any way I think the F40 geared wrong in GT5P.

I have a problem. This combo (Ford GT on N3's around Daytona Road) is undoable for me. How can I join in at a race with 3 other GTP racers if I end up off the track all the time? Seeing the deadline is already 7/5 I can't find enough time to practice to at least stay on the track for a few laps :grumpy:

I asked everyone and our race day will be :

Monday, May 4
21:30 GMT (22:30 GMT +1)

See ya!
Have fun!

Sorry mates, this is too early for me. I would have needed more practice time to stay on track on these N3's anyway. Good luck in the challenge to all 👍

Im really sorry but i cant do that time, ive just been told i have to work monday night.

Also im guessing we can tune the cars how we want right? [including N3s]

I have just spent an hour lapping with the F40, and managed a 1:53 which is not so bad, and then I get dissconected from PSN! agh.

I think with more time I am good for a High 1:51. I am really close to the lead ghost but seem to loose out in the 2nd half.

Then when you can race?
Is May 7
21:30GMT(22:30)GMT +1 ok?

(Me an GTP_Lagas can)
