TechArt stand in Frankfurt has included two of the most incredible cars the tuner has offered lately. There was a new Porsche Cayenne package, but the show has been stollen by the GTStreet RS. Based on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, the GTStreet RS is the most powerful car ever developed by TechArt.
The GTStreet RS is still powered by the GT2 RS’ standard 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine, but its output has been skyrocketed to 720 HP and a peak torque of 663 lb-ft. However, before you can even feel how powerful this car is out on the road, it’s exterior look lets you in on the secret ahead of time.
The exterior kit for the GTStreet RS is all muscle with a significantly lowered front apron with a fixed carbon splitter and an adjustable splitter of hard-wearing polyurethane-RIM. The rear spoiler is also made entirely of carbon-fiber and joins a carbon fiber rear apron and integrated diffuser , as well as air outlets and carbon-fiber air wings. The car sits on a new set of 20-inch Formula Race lightweight forged center lock wheels that are combined with a Noselift System. This Noselift System allow for a rapid height adjustment of approximately 10 mm/s.
The hard-edged exterior gets combined with a softer interior covered in leather furnishings and combined with a delicately fashioned and custom-colored decorative stitching. These features are complimented by decorative components made of carbon-fiber, aluminum pedals, and illuminated door entry guards.
For the engine updates, Techart engineers used a TA 097/T2.2 power kit that increases the 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine’s output to a total of 720 HP and a peak torque of 663 lbs-ft. Just a bit of math will show an increase of 100 HP from the GT2 RS’ standard 620 HP and the improvements don’t end there.
These power updates allow the GTStreet RS to make the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while top speed goes up to an impressive 351 km/h, up from the 330 km/h standard.
