Anybody here like techno? Or as my friend would refer to it "them beeps and ****"? :D

Some of the ones I like;

Public Domain - Bass to the Place (blade soundtrack)
Hot Butter - Popcorn (old but a great trippy song)
Chemical Brothers - Replacement Killers đź‘Ť
 
i often listen to techno while battling Boston Commuter traffic. I gravitate towrds the happy hardcore style usually 140bpm or higher.

I don't usually pic bands, as a few years ago, I downloaded about 10 gigs worht of it, and have been rearranging CD's with different songs ever since.

On a side note, My wife can't stand it.

I too know many people who can just simply not stand it saying that "it requires no skill" when in reality it requires just as much skills ot put together a winning techno song than any other music. :rolleyes:

That depends... Can "old skool" be classified as techno ?.. The cd in our car currently contains Bomb tha Bass as well as Beats International... Does that count ?

Not sure, haven't heard those songs yet, but in my opinion anything that is not techno then the rest is... :D
 
I love techno. I go to some raves and clubs and I love to dance.
 
I can enjoy most techno and dance music but when you're talking electronic music then I by far prefer Drumb and Bass or hardcore trance...
