The S4 is undoubtedly my favourite car in PSP so far. There are other cars that accelerate as brutally as this one but none seem to give anywhere near the same exhilaration visually and audibly for me.
I have spent much of the past few weeks battering it round the Nurburgring and am pleased with the best time I can get, 7:01 on standard physics, this despite it spending long periods of the lap hamstrung by the short gearing and the top speed of 156mph. I'm pretty convinced that sub 7 minutes is imminent.
Now someone will probably tell me they can wallop 20 seconds off this but would be interested to know so I can gauge how much there is left to get out of it.
Incidentally I find the S4 considerably faster and more manageable than its sister Group B car, the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2. Yet to buy the high powered Ford RS200 to compare that one. I'm also hoping that with GT5 having greater tuning options that you'll be able to tune up the S4 closer to its real life threshold of 650bhp rather than the 449bhp in the PSP version.
