Hey!
I just had a few questions/statements to ask about my internet. Im hoping there's some Guru, that can help me, without having to wait on hold for 2 hours.
My internet has always been "Great" since the start. We've been on multiple broadband packages and had over 4 routers in 4 years. About 2 years ago, when we were still on ADLS+1 the internet would just randomly cut out, saying it could no longer connect to the Bigpond gateway, it would also come up with on the same page explaining what to do and in about 30-45 seconds the page would go, asking to reset your browser. ADSL+2 came out and we thought that would be the end of the 'cut out' issue, but it still continues to happen, over and over and over, and the annoying thing is, when you're trying to play on-line games, and you have really fast good internet and you're the host, as soon as the internet comes up with the page, everyone times out.
So I have two questions: Why on earth is it doing this?, and How can I stop it from happening?
Just so you know, I'm running on 15MBps download and 0.70MBps upload. Currently using a: 2Wire 2701HGV-W Modem, which is ADSL+2 compatible, and we have 50GB per month in downloads, which we rarely ever use.
Thanks for any help and if you have any questions, leave a post and i'll get back to you ASAP.
