Last year, months before GT5 was launched, an official video surfaced and some of us got interested on the fact that SSR5's green signboards read "Tentative asking for ideas":

Don't know if there was an official survey into that, but... who the hell asked for "Aniot", "Rimnoat" or "Atankt Airport" as suitable directions?

I don't think there was anything wrong with the olde "Newriver City", "South Port" or even "Loop Line" to begin with :odd:

Maybe PD wants to represent other country by using its street names.

Newriver City, South Port, Loop Line sound better in our ears but they're don't sound realistic

Would have been kinda cool if the signs named some of the fictional tracks in GT5, perhaps in foreign languages so as to not be too distracting. Mandarin for High Speed Ring. Cyrillic for Midfield. etc.

Perhaps PD needed something on the signs, and didn't have names like Anoit or Newriver thought up yet...
