Centers on the Shannons, an ordinary family from 2149 when the planet is dying who are transported back 85 million years to prehistoric Earth where they join Terra Nova, a colony of humans with a second chance to build a civilization.

Has anyone else been watching this show?

Kinda looks like a Stargate Universe+Jurassic Park fusion.

But so far i like it.

I'm watching it. First episode was quite good, the others a bit disappointing. Not much of a fan of how episodic it is.

Anyway, I'm liking it so far too but for now I feel like it could get old fast. They need some story going on, instead of just "a day in Terra Nova" to keep me hooked.

Funny thing is they were sent back in the past to restart human life on earth.

One large issue, the meteor that killed the dinosaurs will happen in 20,000,000 years.

Plan fail.

Unless this new time stream the ELE never happens.

The same occurred to me, but they did mention in episode 4 I think, that the time they reach can't be determined by them. They found a time portal that goes back in time 85 million years and that's it, they can't change that. They do mention it's a different time stream since they were unable to find the probe and whatnot, so it remains open if it will happen.

But if you think about it, human civilization is what? 3 or 4 thousand years old? 20 million years should be more than enough to find a way to deal with that problem
