Terrible Top Gear Test Track AI

Just did 5 and a half of 6 laps in the British Lightweights race in B-spec, got clipped by a car while entering Chicago and pushed past the followthrough. Driver turns around and starts heading towards the final two corners and the finish line, and my position changes from 1st to 12th.... Awesome.

I also did this to an AI car in A-spec once. Nailed him at the same spot and made him abort the next half of the lap and just go for the finish line. Amazing oversight by PD... If the computer can tell that my driver hasn't done enough laps and it won't end the race then why the hell does he go that way.... You think this stuff would be covered since it's a figure of 8 track but no, never even looked at.
 
Won it on the 2nd try in my stock McLaren F1. I made sure my driver stayed cold after taking the lead so he wouldn't increase the risk of it happening again but he still did get hit on the last lap. No big deal though.
 
Just a question, do I need a F1 for this race in B-spec, because it seems my guy just can't win at London or Top gear with a 400 HP TVR Tamora.

Well maybe if you give it some more power you can win but you might need a car like the F1. Although even in an F1 he may take a while to pass some cars at London. I was still 2nd at the end of the 6th lap with my pathetic driver always burning his tires any passing chance he got, ready to give it another try. Then on the last corner he got him under braking by some magic and still managed to win despite burning his tires again. Well, only because the other guy did too.

Race modded lotus.
Wiped the floor with the other drivers with no engine upgrades.

Plus it makes for one hell of a car when running a race with low HP restrictions online.
