Test Course Drifting!

I challenge someone to drift as long as you possibly could on the Test Course Turn..

It would be pretty sweet to see ;)

No rules or anything, any car, horsepower, whatever you like.

Of course you gotta post a link to the video after you're done.

well i think that tescourse is really possible, buz if you can do super speedway it looked liek you could still go, so i bet it's "do-able"

I used to have a Supra that I used Gameshark to alter the HP to like 3500hp or something and I managed to drift the Test course a few times...it's hard to keep the car sideways without hitting the wall. The car tends to try to either straighten out or spin like crazy because it's a banked turn.

awd is easy to drift . make sure the hp is high with some combination tire ( for me s.soft front & normal or medium rear )
than i can easily drift along the track...:D one more thing before i forget . change the camber to 6.0 front & rear & no problem to take a long drift ...thats what i do ...but sometimes feel bored ...hmmm:irked: :D

No offense, but drifting with weaker tires on the rear is about as skillful as buck hunting with a .50-cal sniper rifle.

The farthest I have made it on the test course was about 5/8th of the way around the corner before the car just dove down into the wall.

hey Lanevo, i dont get what your trying to say here, oh well thats ok, anyways sorry for the mistake, i thought test course was super speedway, my bad, hahahaha, laters, and to Lanevo, i dont have time to argue with your childish stuff ok!!!!

and he says he's really good at GT3 drifting and he doesnt even know the tracks. the other post it said you played GT3 for 4 years

Come to the conclusion that Test Course drifting is impossible because of 3 reasons....

-The amount of speed and angle needed to do the turns is too fast to still have controllable wheel spin.

-The slope on the turns slowly sends you drifting into the inside of the turn and hitting the inside wall.

-If someone still does it... I will do the following to them...

NOW... as for SUPER SPEEDWAY... after about 15 minutes of failed attempts to drift the turns, I noticed that I was running sport tires in the back! :banghead: Switched the rear tires to sim's and then gave it another try. At first it was very hard to keep the car in a straight line, but the turns started to become easier to take, and I soon began to do fairly smooth drifts around both the smaller and wider turns on the course. After about 30 minutes I was finally able to do a whole lap drifting....
So basically a whole lap drifting would be taking the turns sideways and doing a choku-dori down both straightaways while connecting the choku-dori into the next turn...
Ehhh... I need to get some videos soon to show you guys.
-Tim :D
