Test Drive Unlimited Online Problems

I just found a copy of Test Drive Unlimited yesterday and it's a great game. I tried out the online yesterday and it didn't work. Tried it again today and the same result. I was sitting right next to the wireless router and it still didn't work. Any help? Is the server down and out? Or just minor problems?

When you pause the game, does it says "TDU servers unavailable" or something like that?
Because when you are playing, you're always online unless you get that message... there are only a few players in the whole island and maybe you're not finding anyone.
