Here is a neat little test to see how well you know your 1950's era cars.

-----> 1950's car test <-----

ATTEMPT to answer them honestly (no googling, please) and see where you stand on your knowledge of some of these fine cars from a bygone era.

I got a 73% .... the average, 35 out of 48

*** look out for Cano on this one *** ;)

I got 83% (40 out of 48). Probably helped that my father used to own a '57 Pontiac and I grew up around cars from that era.

I got 67% right (32 out of 48). I had already known that I would be bad at this, but man, this was hard.

I got 65%. I know... absolutely nothing about old Chryslers, especially not De Soto. I got the GM, Nash, Studebaker and (especially) Ford questions right much more often than not, but everything Chrysler related I had no idea.

67%, a lot of guessing. If I was born here, I think I would've been better at it.

Then again, probably not. It was fun though. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Breaking the streak we have going, I got 23/48, 48%.

Oh joy, oh!! Here I go!

edit:

You got 88% (42 right out of 48).

And two of those were really, really stupid fails. I mean REALLY stupid. Like I blew a car as distinctive as the Kaiser. Blegh, I should have gotten 90+.

Unless you are classic car aficionado, I don't know how you could beat Spacegoat's score.

Haha, the other games in the website are also cool. The V8 identification game is quite hard with some of those. Thanks for the link Nix!

38% (18 of 48)..... I jumped in expecting European cars. I have the poorest knowledge on American ones. One section I got all 4 right on though. :D Was proud. Very proud.

46% lol. 22/48. Don't know **** about '50s cars.

You got 4 out of 4. Average is 3.6 out of 4 (2989245 players).

You got 77% (37 right out of 48). The average score is 73%.

Not bad for a Australian.

Heh, first manual transmission car I ever driven on my own was a '53 Pontiac, I also grew up around cars of this era and older until I was a early teen.

I did the Engine ID 2 and got a 89%, 17/19. Would have been higher if it wasn't for a blonde moment on one of them. I hit the wrong theing and then was like OMG how did I not see that.

"AOS got 44% (21 right out of 48) for the 1950s cars."

"Then he got 37% (7 right out of 19) at guessing the engines, though the last one was a dead giveaway since the body was obviously a Ford.

Nice score. 👍

I was surprised, I would thought I'd score 70%, maybe 75% at best. But to get within 5% of Cano's score. Wow.

And I scored 53% (10 out of 19) for the engine game. Oh well, at least I got all the Pontiac ones right.

I hadn't ever even heard of some of those manufacturers, and whenever I saw one of them, I just picked up the one that looked the worst and chose it. Occasionally the method worked. On the first few questions, I got 4/4 on them... But then comes the rest of it, I'd get 1 or 2. And then I got 4 on the last question. I ended up at 27/48 (56%). I failed.

I then took one on non GM cars. I got 73%. Which is better.

This is not going to go well...

Edit: 79% (!) I'm actually proud of myself. 50's cars are not exactly my speciality. I had to go with my instinct on a lot of the questions. What the cars felt like etc. :)

50s cars I scored a whopping 18/48, 38% :D
I've never payed much attention at all to American cars in general, they don't appeal to me whatsoever. Never have and never will.
