Text Effect "Commands"

My sincerest apologies if this has been covered--wasn't sure what to search for but made a couple unsuccessful attempts regardless.

I frequently use the PS browser on GTPlanet, on which the text effect buttons at the top of the comment window don't work, and was wondering what bracket-letter-bracket (and bracket-slash-letter-bracket) commands are required for underlined and redacted segments. For example: B for bold and I for italic. Also; are there any other useful (of course usefulness is objective) commands that don't involve text color? Thanks in advance.

Would it not be the same way this link ties in to whichever account you're signed in to, and how the options will respond to the interactions between that account and any other? Failing that, nerds. Lots of nerds.
