Text re-sizing formatting issue + List Spamming

I ran into an issue today while editing my 2 Hours of Spa thread in the single events section where lists would be duplicated and text would be re-sized to size 3 (though text that was already re-sized would be un-affected, just would have extra formatting for no reason) all because I added "@" to several usernames that were in a quoted list.

It was a pain to have to delete all of the excessive formatting that ruined several lists with the re-sizing and made text look like a rand some note.

Is this a known issue? It seems that the text re-sizing was what caused the issue with the lists, but why is it that it happened after I simply added the "@" while tagging names in a quote?

I'm sorry for the trouble; I can't explain why that would happen, but there are many known bugs with the editor which will be fixed in the next site software update, one of which will likely have caused this issue for you. Stay tuned to the Site Update Log thread for more info on when that's released.

Meanwhile, I would recommend working with the raw BB code editor (click the paper/wrench icon in the top right) when formatting highly complex posts for maximum reliability and control.

Not posting as complaint, but to report...

I have experienced multiple instances when spacing between lines of text is removed...
...it occurs after editing previously-saved posts when updating OP for the Seasonal threads I do.

Have also experienced same issue @Snaeper reported.

Is this a known issue?

Yea I know that issue, unfortunately . I only post with BBCode editor anyway so it's not really a problem when I create post for the 1st time. But when I click Edit button once it's posted, all codes are multiplied and that's really annoying to be honest. The only way I found to fix this was to save the original code in a private conversation.

- New stewards joined the Staff to give their help.
- New Qualifier procedure: you now have 2 flying laps to set you qualifying lap

- Larger Roster: 32 drivers capable of signing up
- More Cars: Added more cars for GT3 and now adding GT4 cars (replicas).

This series will hold three different classes, PRO, AM, and Gentlemen’s Cup. All 32 drivers will be graded and will be put in a class. The top 16 drivers will go into PRO to drive the GT3 cars. For now, we are planning to have a 32 driver roster, however if we get more drivers to sign up, we will separate AM and Gentlemen's Cup drivers into their own classes. Therefore PRO and AM drivers will be driving GT3 cars, and Gentlemen's Cup drivers will be racing the GT4 cars (replicas). (We will add two more cars to GT3 class if this happens).
Team selections will not take place until all drivers are graded and are in their class.
There will be two drivers per team. Two PRO drivers can team, and one AM and Gentlemen's Cup drivers can team.

As you can see, font, color etc are multiplied in 2nd and only appear when it's useful in 1st. I'm not the owner of this post but I created it and the owner is not really used to BBCode stuffs so I decided to not use the [ list] code to make him things easier. Cause yea, the biggest issue is with this code.

Not posting as complaint, but to report...

I have experienced multiple instances when spacing between lines of text is removed...
...it occurs after editing previously-saved posts when updating OP for the Seasonal threads I do.

Same here, this is why I have to insert this code between lines where that happens:

[color=white].[/color]

EDIT: Also, I remember that images could be bonded horizontally and vertically with previous gtplanet version (and that was really cool ), now they are only bonded horizontally .

That's because the editor has spotted you haven't nested your tags properly.

First tag opened is center, then font, then colour. They should be closed in this order too - but center is being closed first:

[CENTER][FONT=franklin gothic medium][COLOR=rgb(65, 56, 57)] rest of paragraph [/CENTER]

So the editor is adding closing tags in the correct order:

[CENTER][FONT=franklin gothic medium][COLOR=rgb(65, 56, 57)] rest of paragraph [/COLOR][/FONT][/CENTER]

Well, I just tested following your remark but the codes are still multiplied when I click on "edit" (I've edited my first code in this post for you to check if I made mistakes)

Actually, I should have gone on to say that there's some very odd behaviour with colour tags indeed - and I use them often so I should know - where they don't actually like being carried into new paragraphs. So even if you reordered that to:

[FONT=franklin gothic medium][COLOR=rgb(65, 56, 57)][CENTER] rest of paragraph [/CENTER]

It would try to insert a closing colour (and probably font) tag:

[FONT=franklin gothic medium][COLOR=rgb(65, 56, 57)][CENTER] rest of paragraph [/CENTER][/COLOR][/FONT]
