Hello,
I am experiencing a serious audio problem in Gran Turismo 7 on PS5.
The problem started after the latest PS5 system software update on September 16, 2026.
My setup:
PS5
Gran Turismo 7
Thrustmaster T-GT II
EPOS H6PRO headset connected directly to the DualSense controller
The problem only happens with GT7 and the T-GT II:
With the T-GT II disconnected, GT7 audio works normally.
When I connect the T-GT II while GT7 is running, the audio immediately becomes distorted and noisy.
If I start GT7 with the T-GT II already connected, the distortion starts as soon as GT7 launches.
Disconnecting the T-GT II afterwards does not fix the audio.
The audio returns to normal after closing GT7.
The T-GT II works normally in other racing games.
The headset also works normally in other games.
I tested different DualSense controllers.
I tested Linear PCM and Dolby Audio.
I disabled 3D Audio.
I cleared the PS5 cache.
I also tried a different USB port for the T-GT II.
None of these changed the problem.
This makes it seem like there is an interaction between GT7, the PS5 system software and the T-GT II that is causing the audio to become corrupted.
Could you please investigate this issue?
Thank you.
