TH8A third party knob

Hello.

What size is the knob screw on TH8A? I searched all around and everybody gives some different answer, mostly rotating between M8, M9 and M10. I would like to buy a new knob for my shifter, but would also like to get one with a proper sized thread in the first attempt.

This is my new favourite thread.

M9, according to the internet. Try lowering different nuts onto it and see how it feels.
 
Yes, it's supposed to be M9x1.25, but then you have people that claim M8 fitted perfectly and other that say M10 fitted perfectly. That's why I would like some first hand advice from someone.
 
It's M9. I used some paper to fill up the M10 'universal' plastic adapter: not perfect, but it does the job.
